Units are equipped with on-board flash memory. So if a unit can not send back data because there’s no network, it will keep recording and wait until there is network again. You will get complete reporting at the end of the day with no missing data.
Our Service Fee includes the Sim card (where applicable) data, unlimited portal access, unlimited Smartphone App access as well as 24/7 customer service. Our GPS tracking units are also covered by a lifetime warranty which means that if the unit fails as a result of manufacturing defect, it is repaired or replaced free of charge.

Yes, the product comes programmed ready to go . As soon as it gets power it will come to the web page and start tracking. We offer mobile auto electricians for $199 per unit for most major cities in Australia. However you can install the unit yourself, or have it installed by your trusted auto electrician.

A basic track and trace application takes no longer than 90 minutes. If there is additional monitoring required or accessories (PTO, Driver ID or Duress) we will confirm with you prior to install. Please let us know as much detail as possible prior to installation i.e. battery Isolation, connection to PTO, Lift Arm, brushes, vacuum, warning lights etc.
Of course! We can arrange this for you or you can do it yourself.
Yes, all devices or groups of devices can be viewed on the same page. This also applies to our Smartphone App.
Yes, each user is set a profile detail level of access as well as which devices are allowed to be seen.
Yes, our devices are compatible with both 12v and 24 volt system.
We store live data for 12 months. After this period data gets removed. The best way to avoid data loss is to do regular backups on your own systems, for example, in excel format or pdf format on a monthly basis. This can be scheduled to take place automatically.
We use Microsoft Azure based cloud services. These are hosted in data centres close to the region they serve. For our Australian customers the servicers are hosted in Sydney. Our system could be hosted for you in a particular jurisdiction if data privacy laws require it, but this may incur additional monthly hosting charges. Please contact us to discuss this further.
Simply Unified uses Rackspace as its hosting service provider. We have a service agreement in place with Rackspace, and they actively monitor the servers. The data is stored in a SQL database that is fault-tolerant through having dual database servers that will automatically switch over if the primary server fails. Data is stored in a RAID10 SAN disk array, providing further redundancy.
Yes, we can also provide you with your own URL. There is no additional cost for this service. Please contact us for more information.
No, there are no long term contract, simply provide us with written notice and your account will cease at the end of the current billing cycle or where you require a later date. You can reconnect your device at a later date should you wish.
Yes, there is no limit to the number of Geofences on the software side. Alerts and conditions such as speed limits can be set up on a individual geofence if required.
Our device will enter a deep sleep mode so when there’s no activity the unit will fall asleep and hardly use any more 5mA. Once there’s motion or ignition is on , it will become awake and start to track.
Yes, the vehicle tracking devices have the ability to provide this information and raise alerts.
Yes, however you’ll need a driver ID. Each driver will have their own pin code or driver key.
Yes, with our fitted system. CAUTION: Once the vehicle is disabled, it can only be reenabled from the portal. We also require a customer indemnity for using this option.
Yes, the system will display, print and alert via email for work hours and service requirement.
Yes, the system will display, print and alert via email for Odometer based service requirement.
Most of our units are 4G LTE Cat M1. Our preference is use Telstra, however if you have a preferred network, we are happy to accommodate.
No, it is illegal to track someone without their consent.
On all Simply Unified GPS Tracking units, a lifetime warranty is included within your service plan. For all other products there is a 12 month warranty
Depending on the device between 3 and 10 years. Consideration should also be given to the number of daily updates generated. The more updates, the shorter the battery life.
